More work than hours?

You have clients waiting and nobody to hand the work to. We looked for newer and smaller services that take overflow bookkeeping from other firms. We found one, and a lot of gaps. This page says what we found and what to ask before you hand anything over.

Check the provider will still be there

Two dated examples from 2026

Before you hand over clients, ask where the data lives, how you get it back if the provider closes, who reviews the work, and whether the terms run month to month. Use your own Xero or QuickBooks login for access, so you keep control of the file.

What we couldn't find

We looked for newer or smaller services where a bookkeeper with too much work can find another vetted firm to take it. We found few. The rest were large offshore providers, US-only pools, hiring agencies, or paid communities that offer peer support but no work sharing, so we left them off. Many firms still do this by word of mouth. If you know of a newer service we missed, tell us.

How we pick

Checked 14 Oct 2026 from the provider's own site and the two news sources named above. The provider publishes no rates, so there is no currency to show.

First Contact is a small marketing team. We aren't paid by any provider on this page and this isn't an endorsement. We list newer or niche services that solve what bookkeepers are asking about, using only what each says on its own site. "New, no reviews yet" means we found no public reviews.
