Tools

Newer software for small business finance

Newer apps for Xero and QuickBooks, for small businesses and their bookkeepers. We found these tools with a web search. We haven't used them all ourselves yet, and we're collecting reviews for each one. We don't build them, and nobody pays us to list them.

Each card shows what's free and what you pay for. In each job, tools with a free plan come first. Prices are from each maker's own site, last checked between 2 Oct and 2 Nov 2026.

Used one of them? Email info@in2fpa.com and tell us how it went. We'll add what people say to the tool.

Labels on the cards:

  • Established a big or older name. We list it where we found nothing smaller that does the job for free.
  • Government a free tool or template from a government site.
  • Paid no free plan. The card says if there's a free trial.

Newer and niche tools

These are live and do what they say on their own sites. Many are small makers looking for their first users. For several of them we found no public reviews yet, and the card says so. Try one on a small job first, and tell us how it went.

How we pick

First Contact is a small marketing team. We aren't paid by any tool on this page and these aren't endorsements. We find tools with a web search, and the facts come from each maker's own site, with the date we looked. For tools with a free plan, we leave out any that ask for a card before you can use the free part.
