Five reports Xero has marked "Not in pipeline" (votes on Xero Product Ideas, as of 10 Oct 2026): Audit trail report 593 · Transactions with no attachment 300 · Line description on Account Transactions 271 · Repeating invoices 269 · Quantities by customer 261

Find your case

1. A report Xero won't build

What Xero's own team suggests on its ideas board

Need one of these every month? Pull your Xero data into Excel or Power BI with one of the tools below and build the report once. Ask the maker first whether the data you need, such as invoice lines or journals, is included.

2. The same few numbers every week  ·  3. Your numbers in Excel or Power BI

Both tools below copy your Xero data into a database that Excel and Power BI read, so a report you build once refreshes itself.

Start with three to five numbers you'd act on: cash in the bank, money owed to you, sales this week, margin on finished jobs. A dashboard nobody opens doesn't help.

4. Getting Excel data into Xero

Xero's own manual journal CSV import handles one-off journals. For bulk imports with a check first, see Updating a client's product list in bulk? dataSights' Excel add-in can also post invoices and other records back to Xero, its pricing page says.
